I just got this rug in today, so this is a very initial review. The rug came in good packaging, and okay time, not the best time for something on Amazon, but more than okay for shipping time for a rug. I unrolled it and it is laying somewhat flat, still needs to be weighed down for now and still has some areas that are trying to stick up, but I expect that to go away in good time.This rug is not the most comfortable rug I've ever bought, but I did not expect it to be considering the price. I figured that the main selling point was the looks, which I bought it for.And oh boy about the looks, does it ever look good. From standing and sitting heights it looks beautiful. Closer up and you start to see a small lack of detail in some places, but that can really only be expected for this price tag. This rug is incredibly formal, and I'm not sure if you need me to tell you this, but it makes any space more formal instantaneously. So maybe not the best bet if you want a casual space.And the color, I was worried about the color buying this online, as all the other greens in this room match perfect and it would stand out if it didn't, but I can attest that it is truly hunter green, not a forest green, not a dark green, a beautiful hunter green that matches perfectly with the other hunter greens in my space.I might also add that it is fairly thin. Not in an obnoxious, flimsy way, but just not the thickest rug out there. I plan to layer it on top of another larger rug to extend the space covered, so this is a good thing for me, and I don't think there will be any issues.One last note is that when the rug comes out of the package, it does have a somewhat chemical smell. I don't think this is really odd. I've bought a lot of things that this has happened with. It is called "off gassing" and it usually clears up in like a week. You can air the rug out or open your windows to speed it up. Its not the most obnoxious smell, or dangerous as far as I know, but worth noting.But, all in all, I would gladly recommend this rug.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much because amazon has burned me countless times when it comes to rugs. This rug is amazing. The quality can't be beat, and the colors are deep (better than my photo will have you believe, lol.) I just bought another one for a different room

I am completely OBSESSED with these rugs!!! I live in a very “gray and white” style home - which to me is a bit “sterile”. I’ve been bringing in more warmth and cozy traditional elements to try and warm up the space and this rug is EVERYTHING! I love the beautiful emerald color and design- it unrolls easy and relaxed in less than 24 hours. I used my floor steamer to steam the edges flat and it worked like a charm 👍🏼 highly recommend this brand for rugs. I also got the matching runner for my hallway and another runner for my kitchen. Totally transformed my house

I ordered the grey Kingdom Traditional 10' runner in 2020. I had it put away for years but having gotten it out ,placed it in a new location, I checked to see if I could still get the 8'x10' and I was able to. The new carpet was shipped, diverted and "lost" in shipment, properly labeled by the seller, it was delivered in the same state that it was shipped from and yet, noted that I had received it, which I had not and verified on security feed based on the time delivered. Both the seller and I filed a report and the seller provided a refund. If that wasn't odd enough, a couple of days later, during the the FedEx investigation that again stated that had been delivered to our home address and signed for by someone that does not live here, I received another shipment update and upon reviewing the said update, it noted that there were now multiple shipments for the same tracking number, the first one still showing delivered and signed for, which it had not been and the second was to be delivered today. The shipment was moving and arrived today. During this experience, I had been in communication the entire time with Mark of Carpet King Area Rugs, the same company that I had originally ordered the runner and area rug from and to let him know that I had received the rug. Mark was responsive and helpful during this whole excursion. While I can not fault the carpet company for the wild shipping excursion, Mark was as helpful as he could be and we were able to resolve the issue. I am somewhat disappointed that the runner and carpet were not an exact match as I had hoped, they were close enough that I decided to keep the 8'x10' area rug. It is a lovely grey, pattern and noticeably soft to walk on. Yes, it does have a "new carpet" smell and that will dissipate with time. I purchased from Carpet King in my original runner purchase and then again for my new 8'x10' area rug. Even with the unique shipping experience, I would order from Carpet King again and this is a lovely pattern and color that can be easily coordinated/blended. It's not as thick as some of my other rugs but it is noticeably softer and it looks great where placed. Still a disappointment on the color/design matching but it was 3 years between orders so, I consider myself lucky that it kind of matches. The runner, I loved enough to order the area rug and had I bought them both at the same time, I would tend to think that they would have exact match.

My Persian Hunter Green Carpet arrived yesterday and is just gorgeous! It really adds class and beauty to my living room. I also want to add that the customer service provided by Carpet King is excellent! They make sure that the customer is happy and satisfied with their carpets. Buy this carpet! You will enjoy it immensely!
