I got a lemon?
I was impressed with the good reviews and did not hesitate to order this unit. Trouble started after it arrived and did not fit the opening. An eighth inch of interference is a lot for rigid metal components. That issue hurdled, the unit did not seem to function after installation. ? I removed and bench tested, eventually noting13-14 volts on the multimeter. Reinstalled and put in service in June. Our camper was parked in a dry camp environment for the next several months. Initially things seemed fine: come to camp, power up appliances, run genny to charges btry's, live large for two days. Rinse and repeat. Then in July, we had run the genny a long time to get the batteries charged but they never did. Spent that weekend and a few others charging batteries off of the truck, or brought spares, or both. When I brought the camper home in August, I pulled the unit and started inspecting. I found no blown fuses, loose wires or anything to explain its failure. Since it was way past any chance of warranty, I pulled the cover off of the inner housing, exposing the PCB (printed circuit board) and discovered that 2 out of 2, 200v capacitors had cooked off. so what caused that? Cheap Chinese capacitors or some unknown issue? I still don't know. I have had the capacitors replaced (had to purchase a "5 pack" @ $50), but upon testing I have discovered that another component on the board has failed - an onboard fuse. This must be professionally replaced also. The part will cost another $10 probably. Literally, not a happy camper right now. I would like to blame the issues on a bad batch of capacitors (it happens) but unless I can get it back into service, your guess is as good as mine. I know that if I had known then what I know now, I would gone a different route. Buy at your own peril...

Great replacement for older MANETEK 6300 series
Used this to replace a 1989 travel trailer with a MAGNETEK 6345 (6300 series) converter that had unfiltered DC terminals. Discovered this when I added a radio to my camper and the radio kept rebooting. Checked the voltage with multimeter and had a reading from 14 to 18volts. Thought there was a voltage regulator issue but saw an old video that explained that not all of the DC branch circuits are filtered...hence the voltage variations. The old converter used the battery to filter the voltage and keep it constant. At the time I did not have the battery installed and was only using shore power. This unit comes with a new DC panel in which all the fused circuits are filtered.Only issue I had with new converter was the top plate was too wide and would not fit in old housing...see picture with blue arrows highlighting areas to trim on new unit. I removed the plate of the new converter and trimmed the edges which allowed it fit after reinstalling the top plate.Easy to swap and a great upgrade.

Great replacement for a Series 6300 Magnatec
Perfect for and replacement for a Magnatec 6345.Previous stock convertor wasn't charging house batteries. Replaced with this unit and instantly full power going to my house batteries.A little tricky to install as there is no easily readable manual, but found a link to the WFCO website and found an install video. Boom! Installed!

New converter works like a champ
I smoked my old 2007 Casita's single stage converter and decided to use that disaster as an opportunity to upgrade to a three stage converter. Glad I did. This one was a good price, was easy enough to install, and has been working great since that time. Not only does this one not overcharge my battery it is QUIET. There is a fan but I've not heard it turn on. The old one was like a whirlwind. I've been watching for signs of overheating but so far so good. The only downside is that the manual that came with it is a joke. The only good information is the list of voltage levels for the three stages. There wasn't any kind of decent installation instructions. Fortunately it was a snap to install and was a direct bolt-in replacement. It comes with a new 12v distribution panel that has a couple of extra output connections in case I get ambitious and add a new DC circuit for some reason (like a USB charger port).

Check package contents....
Initial package arrived and was obviously opened before. Lots of clear tape. It did not have the fuse board. Seller replaced promptly and the 2nd package came within a few days, and also looked like it had been opened and re-taped. All contents were there, except one of the screws to connect wire on fuse board was missing. Fortunately I had one to use in it's place, although it was a fine thread screw that most people wouldn't have on hand. I would suggest to the company to check their products before shipping out. On the plus side, once I installed it, I have had no problems and the product itself seems to be satisfactory.

Excellent product, easy retrofit install.
I installed this product in my 86 Itasca Phasar. It was super easy to install and fit perfectly with the 1986 converter Box that was original in my unit. I've already taken it on a trip for the weekend and my battery's perfectly charged and I had absolutely no trouble. Excellent product for the price. Also, I contacted The manufacturer customer service prior to my purchase and they were helpful and fantastic.

Did not fit but made it work
I purchased this power converter kit to replace a burned out unit. I was hoping it would slide in just like the bad one slid out. Not that lucky. I took the unit out of its frame and mounted it to the floor inside the panel. Also I did not use the new fuse panel board but had to add a power lead to the existing board. Everything is working well.

Perfect fit. Could have better directions.
Product is very sturdy. Directions were almost worthless BUT I found a site online that had step by step pictures of an install and with those this took less than an hour to install. Works fantastic. My old unit was 23 years old and would only charge to 12.3 volts. This unit started at 13.8v and by morning my batteries were at full change for the first time and the meter was reading just over 13v. This will definitely extend battery life and make boondocking much easier.

Compatible replacement for 7345
We installed this new 8945r inverter this past weekend in our Citation travel trailer. Our trailer is 15 years old and the parallax 7345 has been discontinued but this one is a direct replacement for it and it fit perfectly into the space. It comes with a new fuse panel so we swapped it out also as it is slightly different than than the one that was installed. It works perfectly and was easy to install after we watched a youtube video for the 8955. So happy as the price was excellent as the local shop wanted over 1000.

Perfect Replacement
Perfect replacement for the Magnetek 6300 series unit that had failed in our older 5th wheel. It even revived the battery that I thought the old unit had killed!

It worked on my RV
Easy to install, it worked as expected. There was only a small 1/8” mismatch between my original rv converter frame and this converter, so that I couldn't place the second screw, but everything else was beatfull
