Update: I have had these mitts for three years, and they are still the best! I wouldn't use anything else. They are easy to wipe after being coated in whatever I may pick up, are easy to maneuver with, and do not let the heat in.These mitts are the best of both worlds. They are cloth lined, but the silicon on the outside is excellent for preventing heat transfer. The fit is also great for my smaller hands and my husbands man hands.I threw out my silicon gloves and am getting another set of these mitts.

After I caught two oven mitts on fire in the same year (small oven, big arms) we bought a pair of these. No more fire!

These are nice big mitts with a heavily textured silicone cover sewn right to the fabric. They are super heavy duty, you feel no heat when reaching into the oven. I've gotten lasagna sauce and enchilada cheese on the silicone and it was easy to rinse off and didn't stain the silicone.

So far so good. My first pair so I don't have a lot to compare these to. I love the fact they are easy to slip on and slip off. Didn't notice any heat transfer while scraping cookies off the sheet.

I'm sure they would be good for a larger person, but too large and heavy for my arthritic hands

these are cumbersome and not easy to grab with.... I would not buy these again

Very attractive, and they don't get dirty as silicone is on the outside
