My Experience? Not so good.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Jeez, am I disappointed in this product. I have a couple of issues with this tin and in the video, you'll be able to clearly see as to why.First off, the pans are fine. They're basic pans and compared to the pans that came with my Prima Marketing set, they're the same size in every way. These I like since the rim isn't too chunky and aesthetically ugly.My problem is solely with the metal case. It's flimsy, it's light, there were light, albeit thin scratchings on the case, the makes it feel very low quality and the only way I'd ever recommend it is if you need a low-cost case and don't care much for quality. (You're better off with a plastic palette that cost five bucks.+At first, I was happy to find such a palette for a reasonable price with tins, I'm not looking for much really. But my frustrations started to grow the moment I opened the palette. The pan holder is fine, the pans are fine, although the pan holder isn't very secure and even when I placed all the pans neatly inside - some come out of place when I reopen it.For some reason, the, what is it called, outer lid? Let's go with that. To the left of the tin, I noticed when I went to close the palette in the video that it make a noise and only closed when I put pressure on it. So I checked it out and there goes three minutes of me trying to push the long pin-like metal thing that the outer lid is meant to wrap around and connect with the bottom. You'll be able to see what I mean in the video as well as in the pictures, sorry I don't know the anatomy of a tin.Next, the flap bit with all the small extra wells doesn't flip down or up properly. It's clearly uneven and I'm assuming that is also why the palette is a bit of trouble to open and to close too. Those two above are my biggest peeves. Especially the first one. This is because when I close the palette, if I were to put it in my bag, the metal pin is not covered or held in place and so while I go out it can catch on the inner lining of my bag or scratch something up.Next is that on the inner top lid, I noticed that the white coating has been damaged a bit which is no good because, of course, I don't want to pick at it with my brush or paint when I'm mixing colors and help it rust over. There's only a few spots of those, thank goodness but I'm upset the coating is damaged anyways. Then, something I didn't even notice till I decided to take pictures is that on the top lid, there is a dent. You can even see it in the video at 00:28 if you pause. You can also see that the little metal bit when I open the palette was always sticking out a few seconds later.I guess I'll fill up the pans either way since I'm a big fan of dried gouache for on the go paintings and I'm beyond excited for the Holbein's but I'll place them in a metal pencil case for the time being.

A treaure
I love this little pallet. It is the perfect size for travel and just in general as someone who doesn't get a great deal of free time to paint in general. I have been able to squeeze several other pans in the space between, maximizing the number of paints I can store.

sturdy, good value
Small, sturdy, good value. Wish it had come with enough pans to fill it.
