The media could not be loaded.  I picked up this lightstrip as a foray into strip type lighting. I wanted to see if these would add some background color for taking photos and/or shooting video indoors and if I would actually use them consistently. Since I wasn’t sure how I would like this option, I didn’t want something too expensive or sophisticated to start out with. I’d say these lights perform well for the price and work as advertised.Prior to purchasing, I read many of the reviews, so I knew what I was getting into and was fine with the tradeoffs that come with these lights. As far as applying them to a surface, I used the little clips they came with as opposed to the adhesive on the back of the strip (see photo of one of the clips). These worked very well and are still holding up (I wish they included some more of these). The color options are fine for my taste, and they do seem to move to the music when you set them in music mode (not precise, but okay). They’re also dimmable, which is nice.The only issue I ran into is that the remote doesn’t have a lot of range. Since I will usually set them once for a shoot, or turn them on to set a mood, this is not really an issue.Pros-Price-Ease of use/setup-Color options-DimmableCons-Remote range-Adhesive on strip doesn’t seem too reliable (use the clips!)Given the price, I think these are well worth a purchase. I’m certainly satisfied.

These lights are great, however just after owning the 3 months the lights would not change colors anymore, I contacted the dealer and he sent me a new set, but they only change blue or white or yellow. That's all. And I have 4 strips , and 2 power strips to connect them. Since I have 2 controls now the lights just dont work. Not very happy the adhesive does not stay, and the lights I'm only limited to 3 colors?? The music voice does not work. So all in all it's just ok. We had to use thumbtacks to get them to stay on the wall unfortunately.

Worked very well for my intended purpose. However as 1 power supply works for a 16ft strip i had ordered 2 and came up about a foot short in the center of my wall but I'll just put a led sign there. Lights are very bright but do have a dimming feature as well. Lights can be on solid or have a color changing fade mode and music sync mode. Music sync is really neat like being at a concert. It is hard to get 2 seperate strips to sync with the same colors in fade mode. All in all great value here and took me all of 5 minutes to setup. Will update on the longevity. Update 11/5/19 The lights still look great but one strip will remain on a low red color after being turned off, i just unplug them. All the functions and colors still work but one of my strips does not completely turn off without being unplugged.

the colors are not true but they are bright and the music part doesn't work that well but its still pretty cool

If you need to lighten up a piece of your home this is it!Love the way it looks in my room. The adhesive is aggresively sticky so you really need to be careful on where you set it up because once you peel and stick it on your wall or furniture it gets harder to unpeel. It leaves sort of a residue and the strips become a bit thinner. I only peeled small sections every few inches so it sticks properly. I hightly recommend that if your set up is not permanent. Other than that the product is amazingly great! Lights work!👍 Very bright! 👍 covered a 9'x14' room(well almost, I need to cover another small section)

Love these lights! very fun and easy to use. I ordered a set and one of the strips broke soon after setting it up, but I emailed the sellers and they sent me a new one!! Very quick response and solution which was great.That being said, the adhesive may not be enough to attach the lights depending on where you put them-mine can’t stick to the wall without some extra sticky tack. The remote works fairly well, although my battery died after about 2 weeks, but both of those problems are easily fixable.Overall, great purchase! The music synchrony function is really fun and not something every light strip has.

I gave three stars because as much as I don’t like them; they do light up and they did work. Truthfully, I didn’t have the lights in my hands for more than five minutes before I decided to return them. You’d think they’re RGB lights, but they’re individual red, green, and blue lights on a string. In other words: when you have one color on, say blue, after every blue light you’ll have two lights that aren’t illuminated because they’re a red and a green light. It makes it not as bright as it should be, which is a little counter productive since you’re buying an LED strip. If you’re into the multicolor vibe thing, then this is for you. If not, I suggest looking else where.

Well I had purchased these to hang around our living room. Basically we like to have just some ambient lighting at night when watching a movie or just relax without it being blinding. These are perfect. Not only can we change the color up, we can even turn them on to dance with music for the kids.I was skeptical at first but the kids turned off all the lights and started The Greatest Show song. I was impressed. Lights were banging to the drums/stomping and they had a blast.I may get more in future to really cover the room now that I know how well they work. Lot of fun and price is perfect, especially for the length. Try them out!
